Whoever thought that January would be a good day for a Faurefold working party? But we did have a list of inside jobs to do. Days before there was inches of snow covering the site – very pretty but rather chilly. But on the day, the sun shone and the snow melted away. So some of those inside jobs were put aside for the greater fun of sorting camping equipment outside. Our new shed paid for by Toyota at Banstead looks great and now has equipment neatly stored awaiting the first visitor. The next working day is 25 March – yes a Monday for those who prefer weekdays.
The car park is a huge improvement – all we have to do now is stop parents ignoring it and doing wheelies on the grass in front the the building. Bookings are going well and already we have had hardy brownies in for a weekend. This is what we are here for.
