To make the sides of the track into Faurefold  interesting in the spring , last autumn (2012) we planted 100s of daffodils which looked lovely Spring 2013; I also made some rustic willow hurdles to stop people driving off the track. Then, in about April, we rotovated the ground and planted special wild flower seeds; it said on the box they were flowers that ladybirds like. They were right. Since late June there have been all sorts of flowers and even now there are more flowering.
It is a small start but I am really pleased with the result. And it seems that the deer and bunnies don’t like to eat them. Roo
